1. Policy Statement

Vehicle Data Global Limited is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly and with integrity. We recognise that modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking are serious crimes and violations of fundamental human rights.

The Company adopts a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery and is committed to preventing such practices within our business operations, supply chains and business relationships.

We are committed to acting transparently and taking reasonable steps to ensure that modern slavery does not occur within our organisation or through any third parties acting on our behalf.

This policy applies to all:

  • Directors
  • Agency workers
  • Contractors
  • Consultants
  • Suppliers
  • Subcontractors
  • Business partners
  • Any individual or organisation acting on behalf of Vehicle Data Global Limited

3. Responsibilities

Directors

The Directors have overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with this policy and for providing adequate resources to identify and address modern slavery risks.

Managers

Managers are responsible for implementing this policy within their areas of responsibility and ensuring that employees understand and comply with its requirements.

Employees and Workers

All personnel are responsible for:

  • Complying with this policy;
  • Remaining alert to potential indicators of modern slavery;
  • Reporting any concerns immediately through the appropriate channels.

4. Our Commitments

Vehicle Data Global Limited will:

Employment Practices

  • Verify the identity and right-to-work status of all personnel in accordance with applicable UK legislation.
  • Review original right-to-work documentation, including passports, visas and other relevant evidence.
  • Ensure all employees receive at least the applicable National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage.
  • Ensure workers are free to leave their employment without coercion, intimidation or unlawful restrictions.
  • Maintain fair recruitment and employment practices.

Supply Chain Due Diligence

  • Assess suppliers and business partners using a risk-based approach.
  • Encourage suppliers to maintain policies and procedures designed to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Seek assurances, where appropriate, that suppliers comply with applicable employment and human rights legislation.
  • Review and monitor supplier relationships where modern slavery risks are identified.
  • Take appropriate action where concerns regarding modern slavery are substantiated.

Training and Awareness

  • Provide appropriate modern slavery awareness training to employees.
  • Provide enhanced guidance and training to managers and personnel involved in procurement, supplier management and recruitment activities.

Reporting Concerns

  • Encourage employees and third parties to report concerns regarding modern slavery or human trafficking.
  • Investigate all credible reports appropriately and confidentially.
  • Protect individuals who raise genuine concerns from retaliation, victimisation or detrimental treatment in accordance with the Company's Whistleblowing Policy.

5. Breaches of this Policy

Any employee who breaches this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.

The Company may terminate relationships with suppliers, contractors or business partners found to be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.

6. Continuous Improvement

Vehicle Data Global Limited is committed to continually reviewing and improving its policies, procedures and due diligence processes to identify, prevent and mitigate the risk of modern slavery within its operations and supply chains.

7. Policy Responsibility and Review

Overall responsibility for this Policy within Vehicle Data Global Limited and the implementation thereof, lies with the Board of Directors, however Lisa Millman, Finance Director takes the lead on Policies & Procedures.

This Policy is reviewed annually and updated as required.
